Brock Purdy leads NFL in QBR thru Week 16

San Francisco 49ers QB leads NFL in QBR thru Week 16

Through 16 weeks, even after the forgettable game against the Ravens, 49ers QB Brock Purdy still leads the NFL in QBR, slightly ahead of Josh Allen and Dak Prescott.

Brock is only behind Tua Tagovailoa in passing yards, and only one behind Dak in passing touchdowns. The current MVP odds on favorite, Lamar Jackson, has a QBR of 63.0 -- 8th best. If Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins beat Jackson and the Ravens in Baltimore, Tua will be the MVP odds on favorite. Tua's QBR is 59.5 -- 12th best.

Timing is also a factor. If the Ravens loss had happened early in the season, and the Eagles win took place on Christmas Night, your QB would be the favorite. Check out Brock's ANY/A which is tops this season, but also fourth all-time. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Statistics are from
ESPN created the QBR years ago.
