49ers GM John Lynch On Swapping Picks With The Bears
The 49ers and Bears swapped the Nos. 2 and 3 picks in the draft, and the Bears used the selection on Mitch Trubisky.
The 49ers also received the Bears' 2017 3rd & 4th Round picks (#67 and #111) and its 2018 3rd Round pick.
GM John Lynch says he would've taken Reuben Foster at No. 3 if Bears had taken Solomon Thomas.
The 49ers gave up their second-round pick (No. 34) and the fourth-rounder they got from the Bears earlier in the day (No. 111) for the Seahawks' first-round pick (No. 31). Niners then selected LB Reuben Foster from Alabama.
